Sinky shoe but it worked out April 03, 2012

Clearly there is an overwhelming stench to this shoe. However at the price paid I was willing to try it. It worked. Here's what I did. I stuffed newspaper in to each shoe. Got some "spray" fine leather shoe polish. Treated the shoes three times. Stuck in the garage for two weeks exposed to the open air. Then put in a bag with a charcoal filter for another two weeks. Voila...the smell has been reduced to about 20% of its peak stench. Shoe is comfortable and looks solid. If you are willing to do the above then you'll be fine if not then I'd advise against buying them.

Bought it for dress occasions. Liked the style and the price. It's a fine shoe for the price; however, not the most comfortable shoe...but maybe that's expected. Overall though, a pretty decent buy.

Liked the look, feel, and construction, but it was too narrow. My foot might be a bit wider than average, but I never buy wide sizes.

I bought these shoes for my brother's wedding way back in 2006. I wore them off and on for the next two and a half years but now I've worn them nearly every day for a year and a half. The shoes are just now coming down to the end of their life which is awfully good in my opinion.
