I was looking for a replacement for my beloved (Wigwam) ironman socks which are no longer produced. I was a little afraid when I got them because they are a lot thicker than I anticipated. I first wore them with my boots, which was a huge mistake. Little balls began to develop on the back of the sock after wearing it for only 2 hours. Aside from that, the socks are very comfortable and fit very well. I wear them when cycling and running, but I have not tested them for long distances. The farthest that I have run with these so far is about 4 miles, and they were wonderful. They kept my feet dry and cool throughout the run; I even forgot that they were even on. I would definitely recommend for other runners, even if I am a little concerned with their longevity.
