Didn't even have to break in these shoes for comfort. These are an excellent buy! I would highly recommend than to anyone.I would caution people to order their normal shoe size because unlike many other hiking shoes, which are often over-sized, these really are true to size!

The boot looks good and they fit, a narrow foot is very hard to accommodate these days, even at high end shoe stores. The only concern I had was with the heal, the center portion extrudes 1/8" beyond the parameter, at first it felt life I was standing on a small rock but after a few days I did not notice it anymore.

It was a pleasant surprise that it was comfortable from the start. No break in period necessary. I prefer a more narrower feel. I guess I'll have to wear thicker socks to compensate. Very good value.
