The Harden Hiker boot from Wolverine is a fashionable boot with tons of protection! This lace up ankle boot features cement construction and a breathable waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane. This work boot has a removable full-cushion footbed with a mesh sock liner for enhanced comfort. The midsole is a compression molded EVA foam and the outsole is a durable, slip-resistant rubber. The steel Safety-Toe protects against falling objects and crushing while meeting ASTM standards. The electrical hazard construction even protects the wearer from open circuits!

Although there's still plenty of wear left in the Wolverine Hiker I purchased a year ago, I have been so pleased with the boots that I purchased a second pair. The boots are comfortable, rugged and well constructed. A steel toe has been added which adds about four ounces to each boot. Overall, I think this is an excellent boot.
Wears this shoe: Walking around town and hiking on trails.

Would have liked to get this boot in black without the steel toe, but sadly it is not offered in black.I took a chance and purchased it in black.It looks good and construction quality looks good, but the innersole is to hard,and no arch support. No "Dura Shock system here". I'm on my feet all day, and do a lot of walking, at the end of the day....tired feet.Won't buy this model again.
