Upper: Waterproof Full-grain Wolverine Performance leather uppers. Insole: Removable full-cushion dual-density polymer footbed. Shank: Fiberglass. I'm really appreciating the comfort of this boot. The sole feels a little strange to stand on at first due to it's pattern, I was coming from a boot obviously structured differently. Given about a week of wear the sole conformed to the ground much better. I work on cement floors so the ground doesn't conform to the sole at all, so I may have been more sensitive to its feel. The steel toe makes my foot feel a little tighter then other wide boots I've worn, though it's forgivable. I will look into getting soft toe later, for hopefully a little more room since steel toe is not a need but a want where I work. Coming from mostly black boots,I was surprised to enjoy the richness of the brown and with wear gives it more character. Happy with the more traditional style. I'm not a big fan of futuristic style boots. If they last a full year I'll be happy, since no matter how much I spend on boots they never last in my work. Also Shoebuy is a great company ,they've gone above and beyond with customer service in the past.
