Wolverine DuraShock Water Proof Work Boot
By AL, from New York Metro area | April 06, 2013
While the style and quality of the upper and outsole are superior, I found the comfort not be up to par. The shoe seemed to create more pressure points in the heel -- both underfoot and in the back of heel. After as little as a half hour of wear, I would note significant pain and a general bruise-like feel in this area. With each wearing, the pain increased, thus it was not a matter of breaking them in for me. I stopped wearing the boots for several weeks, and tried them again with the same results; thus, I had to give them away. Perhaps my foot is one of the few that had this trouble, as I note that others seem to very happy with the comfort level of this boot.

Husband has been through 8 pair of "Top Name/Quality" boots since being in Afghanistan nothing has held up. Worth the investment.

I'm on my feet for 10 hours where I work. A light boot, such as this boot, has made a huge difference in how my feet feel after work. I am comfortable all day. No more achy, tired feet. It helps my back as well. I will definitely buy this boot again in the future.

Second order of same boot
By Tim, from Long Island, New York | March 30, 2010
I ordered a half size larger than my last order and was somewhat disappointed in this product. The toe box seemed more tapered and the fit at the instep tighter. However, I have not experienced any problems wearing the boot, and have recommended it to another electrician.

Wolverine Boots
By Robert Click, from Kingsport, Tennessee | February 21, 2007
This boot is very high quality, has a real upper leather (where you tie them). I like the boots and have no dislike. I bought them because my older boots severly worn. These boots are also non-conduction, so they protect against shocks.

Husband's work boot
By Robert, from St. Louis MO | June 10, 2006
My husband picked this boot out of the selection at shoebuy for his work as a mechanic in a garage. He had previously purchased all of his boots at discounters like Wal-mart or K-mart. Of course he says these are amazingly more comfortable to wear. He also really liked the color - normally he always got black boots because he was concerned that brown would just turn black because of the oil etc. that gets spilled on them. The finish on these brown boots already appears oiled, and so far is standing up well to all of his abuse. *I* think the boot feels a little too heavy as far as materials used to make the sole, but he says he doesn't mind.
