Wolverine DuraShock SR is a Slip-Resistant comfort system with compression pads in heel and forepart of the outsole compress under pressure to absorb shock and stress. Unique compounds in the outsole lugs increase traction. An advanced tread design gives a high surface area of contact and channels liquid away from the surface area. 90-degree heel provides "bite" in the walking motion. Upper: Full-grain Wolverine Performance leather uppers. Insole: Removable full- cushion dual-density polymer footbed. Shank: Fiberglass Features Steel Toe and Electrical Hazard Protection that meets or exceeds ANSI Z41 PT99 Class 75 levels, and can protect wearer against open circuits up to 600 volts. Dri-lex lining wicks moistures away from feet. Direct attach construction.

It took years to get my husband to realize that you get what you pay for. He always bought cheap shoes and then complained that his feet hurt. Once I convinced him to spend the money on good boots, he chose Wolverines and could feel the difference immediately. There was no breaking in and they felt wonderful the minute he put them on. This is his third pair of these boots and will not even consider any others.
