These are great boots. There is no need for break-in time. They are as comfortable as a worn-in pair. I wish the soles were stitched rather than glued, and that the tread was a little more "grippy."

I ordered these boots for my husband for Christmas. He has a short fat foot, 8 1/2 EEEE. I took a chance and got the 9 Extra Wide for him and he says they are great. I think they look very nice! Hopefully he will wear them for many winters in Maine. An excellent boot.

I have been wearing this style boot for a number of years they don't require a break-in period which is very unsual for a work boot. I usually rotate been 2 pair

No break-in time. You could stand all day in these. The cushioning is very soft and at first will make you tired if you have to walk alot. They are very light but warm and waterproof. Only flaw I found was in a couple of the eyelets. They had metal spurs that I had to file down or else they would chew up the laces.

The overall quality of the boots is great. A flaw I had was that the boot lace hook on one boot pulled out of the leather. I was unable to return the boots, since I needed them for my construction job.
