These boots are extremely comfortable and they look great. The cushioned midsole makes for a comfortable walking boot and the thinsulate keeps my feet warm. The sole is slip resistant and the boots are waterproof. I live in the Buffalo, NY area and these boots have been subjected to snow, sleet, slush, ice and extreme cold and come through with flying colors. I would recommend going a half size larger than your sneaker size. I normally wear a size 10 and my 10.5 Wolverines fit perfect.
