Mining boots are a type of heavy duty industrial footwear specially designed to provide support and protection in mining environments. Mining boots are generally manufactured using oiled waterproof leathers or abrasion resistant waterproof rubbers that are lined with insulating and compression resistant materials to withstand extreme environment conditions. Mining boots also feature slip-resistant soles with steel toe, metatarsal guards and toe box rubber overlays which are designed to protect against high impact, puncture or compression.
