This Black Sequoia hat is from the Bailey Wind River collection of hat styles for which I have managed to collect a few, and they are all superbly crafted hats. I knew immediately upon donning this hat that it was going to be perfect for me. Others may have to sit for awhile before I eventually gain an appreciation for them. This is a true cowboy design that is somewhat conservative for those preferring to avoid the gaudiness of wider brimmed western hats. Plain and simple, soft and supple, this hat is constructed of Bailey's LiteFelt so it will always spring back to its original shape after being stored away in a suitcase or backpack, or wherever. Additionally, the hat band also serves as a chin strap so it won't be lost by a sudden gust while out venturing along the windy river.
