While the shoes are not flashy like other boys' sneakers, they seem to be highly durable. I think they will last until the time my son grows out of them. I had to order the shoes special for his school uniform (all white) and needed velcro in a wide size. I could not find such a sneaker in any brick and mortar store.

They are good looking shoes of very poor quality. My grandson wore them a couple of times and the leather material developed numerous cracks.

I bought these shoes for my 7 year old son to wear school. When they arrived they were heavier than I thought they would be but my son didn't have any complaints. About a week after wearing the shoes, the sole started shredding in places. About two weeks after that the top layer around the toe started peeling. I also noticed that some of the threading was unraveling. I have purchased several pairs of shoes for my son in the past but I never had a pair start to just deteriorate like this. He has shoes I purchased over 6 months ago that don't look this bad. The quality of these shoes are extremely poor.

I bought this shoe because my son wears an orthotic and cannot tie his shoes so I need a wide velcro shoe to help him be independent. The shoe seems comfortable and keeps it shape well. However, my son wears the sole out at the heel. I am not sure if this is just something particular to his gait or if it is the shoe.
