I bought this shoe because my son wears an orthotic and cannot tie his shoes so I need a wide velcro shoe to help him be independent. The shoe seems comfortable and keeps it shape well. However, my son wears the sole out at the heel. I am not sure if this is just something particular to his gait or if it is the shoe.

My son has been wearing these shoes for three weeks and they are entirely gone. The only reason why I did not return them yet is that he does not have another pair to wear. I'm anxiously waiting for the shoes I ordered he should be able to wear them, and hopefully last a bit longer

I am a guardian for a gentleman with developmental disabilities. It is hard to find wide boys shoes in the stores. I plan to pass this website on to others in the same situation. Just what I wanted and plan to buy more in different colors.

My son loves these sneakers because they are made well, are sturdy, and can hold up to a 9-year-old's active playing and running around. They are pretty easy to keep clean and they are great for kids who love Velcro instead of laces. Some schools do not allow laced sneakers for gym, so these are a great buy. They are well worth the purchase.
