I wanted a nice wide sturdy school shoe for my first grade granddaughter. These shoes fit the bill nicely. They are well made, nice soft leather and come in "wide" which she needs. I have purchased Willits in the past and have been uniformly happy with them.

I have purchased this shoe twice now for my daughter. They are comfortable, true to size, and attractive. She would rather wear these than her tennis shoes. She loves them!

This shoe is very attractive, and I had hoped my daughter could wear it as an alternative to tennis shoes. However, she complained that the shoe was too tight particulary around the heel and ankle, and caused some discomfort.
