Very poor quality shoe March 18, 2013

Do not buy this shoe. The quality of this shoe is very, very poor. The rubberized material (white) that covers the shoe peels off on the first or second wear. My child was embarrassed after wearing these shoes to school after 1 month. I ended up throwing them in the garbage because I didn't want to deal with the return process. A BIG waste of money!

not a good fit for wide feet December 30, 2012

My daughter has a small wide foot. We usually buy a size 2 for the width. I went by the measurement chart provided to get the right size for her foot and in inches showed that she should wear a size one but I could also get it in wide width so that's what I ordered. When it came she couldn't even get her foot in the shoe. I exchanged it for a size two wide. It came and again does not fit because it's too small! Now I have to return/exchange for a third time!! I suggest that you do not go by the size chart provided but instead go by the shoe size that you would normally buy. And if your child has a wide foot buy at least one size larger than normal

I bought this shoe for my daughter. The school year has not started yet, so I am not sure how they will hold up. But as far as the fit goes my daughter loved them from the moment she put them on!

While they are sturdy shoes, the white leather has a strange layer that is peeling off all over the toe and sides of the shoe. My 2nd grader wears them 3 days/week to school, so they do see plenty of playground activity. I don't mind scuffing - but the peeling looks terrible and no polish will cover it.

This is the best-made shoe for any price. My daughter loves them because they never need to be broken in, and I love them because they're rugged, and everyone else loves them because they are classics. I don't know why more people don't put their kids in Willits.
