This shoe looks exactly as pictured. While it is not a particularly pretty shoe, it is a functional shoe with good arch support. It does have pretty lines & appears to be well made. I am an adult who is a true 2 Medium. This shoe was a tiny bit large & slips on my feet slightly, but not enough to return. They might do better with some heel inserts. I plan on wearing this shoe with black dress pants which will look very nice during the winter months. This will be a warm shoe.
