I had a pair of these shoes when I was a little girl -these are classic! The shoes are pretty stiff, which is normal with new leather shoes. The brown is a rich chocolate brown -a little shiny, too. I ordered the size 8D -these run a little big, which is not a big deal since my daughter can wear these shoes for another season! I just wish that there were local stores that sold these classic shoes instead of having to buy them online.

Beautiful shoe but very stiff. Ordered in a wide but very narrow. My daughter only got to wear twice because she complained that they hurt her feet.

Needed "Extra Wide" Size Toddler Shoes December 31, 2008

My daughter wears an "Extra Wide" width. She has worn Stride Rite brand in "EW" width & they have fit just fine. These Willits Classic Sandals (in "EW" width) were very tight on her. The width was not what I had expected. Otherwise, the quality of the shoe seemed good.
