Being both big and tall, shoe comfort is critical for me. Having owned Rockport casuals in the past, I decided to try the dress line for business attire; and I am glad that I did. I always bought Rockport because the shoe is light, fit my wide foot well, and the leather was supple yet supportive. This time the shoe is stiff. And it is not breaking in well. The fit is true, but the shoe doesn't "give" the way I have become accustomed to Rockport. While light, it doesn't feel as cushioned as I am used to with my other Rockport dressport type shoes.
