great support shoe for standing, just not for walking

I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I usually wear and the fit was perfect. I ordered medium which fit great over my large bunions, and even fit my narrow heels. There was no painful break-in over my bunions, which is very unusual for me. The arch is pretty good, I need metatarsal support also, so I used my Aetrex orthotics which fit well into the shoe. If I were just standing for a long time, these would be great shoes. But for walking around the house, or taking a hike they are very heavy and hard to bend, which causes more problems with the bursitis in my metatarsal area. It's a great shoe if your feet don't require flexible shoes with a soft, cushioned feel.

I had difficulty finding shoes for my son's wedding since I wear alarge size. I looked at several stores and numerous web sites and discovered Shoe Buy by searching for a specific brand. They offered several options, price was great and transaction was easy. Loved the free shipping and free return (which thankfully I did not need). I have passed the information to the mother of the bride who also has difficulty finding comfortable shoes that fit.

I have been wearing these shoes since 1992 and I wear them every day. I have had heel spurs in my feet andthis is the most comfortable that I have ever wornand this shoe was recommnded by my foot doctor. They are GREAT.

I have been wearing the Bloom II for years. This shoe is a little lighter in weight, and sportier. It comes in brown, a color I have trouble finding.The strap is a little close to the ankle, requiring me to add felt padding, but otherwise it is a sturdy and comfortable shoe. I walk 8--11 miles a day at work alone,and I have problem feet, so I need a comfortable shoe.

I don't particularly like to wear sneakers except for working out. That's why I love this shoe. It is as comfortable as a sneaker but much more attractive. You can wear these shoes with dress slacks or more casually and be attractively and appropriately dressed. You can also wear these shoes all day without going home with sore feet.
