This is my first pair of Timberland Boat shoes as I only have Sperry's and decided to give these a shot.Since I'm used to Sperry's the Timberland Boat shoe seems a little heavier compared to the Sperry's. In addition a downside to the shoe is that is pretty wide and Sperry offers Narrow, Regular, and Wide boat shoes. I tend to use the narrow ones. These came in only one width and they were wide and heavy for me.They are very comfortable and I love wearing them!Overall, great shoe although I would definitely get Sperry's over the Timberland's and the price tag isn't much of a difference between both of them.

Boat shoes are very popular in the South where I live (Florida). I particularly like Sperry, Sebago & Timberland.These Spinnakers are great lookers, very comfy and durable. When I can I will buy another pair of a different color.Can't go wrong with Sebago!
