I had problems with my small toe due to wearing shoes that were too narrow for too long; I have given all those shoes to a charity and am now only buying wide shoes. I got the 4E in this shoe -- it is fantastic. Plenty of room in the toe box, sturdy sole, solid and supportive construction. I like this shoe a lot

I just wanted a pair of lace up boots. I usually wear pullons; of which I have 2 pair of Double H brand. A nephew had a pair of lacers and I really liked them and decided that I needed a pair. Also, they're made here in PA. I like to think that I'm helping to support local workers.They are very comfortable right out of the box. Minimum amount of break in. I'm glad that I bought them.
Wears this shoe: When Im not wearing pullons. Two or three times a week.

I have a hard to fit size (14 Narrow), so I always have a hard time finding a shoe that fits well. These are great! No wearing two pairs of socks to make them snug. After having them for only two weeks I went to Colorado. Hiking in them were a pleasure. Would definitely buy again.
