Florsheim Minturn Reasonably satisfied

I was looking for a nice all-purpose black, leather shoe, and got it. It looks slightly less elegant than the image, specifically that the 3E width makes it look a bit clunky. It fits reasonably well, but is slightly oversized to the extent that they are a bit too big unless worn with wool socks. If you are on the fence regarding width, it would seem best to underestimate slightly.

This is a great shoe. I've worn it about 10 days, and it doesn't need breaking in. It's a beautiful shoe and the 3E is wide enough. I'm very pleased. What I don't know is how best to treat the leather and have a call into Neil M to find out.

Johnston & Murphy Aldrich II The Quality Has Declined

I have worn this model of shoes for 30 years. The higher end J & M shoes used to be made in Tennessee by quality craftsman. These shoes used to be calf's leather and very comfortable. They are now made in India. The quality is less. I find the leather much stiffer than before and I have worn them now for a few weeks. They don't feel that great.

Orthofeet 465 Great stability!

As a supinator (with fallen arches), I needed the stability and ergonomic support that this shoe provides in a dressy leather package - it's also the most comfortable dress shoe I have ever tried. It will feel a little larger than normal at first, but that is to accomodate the customizable padding (provided). I don't even need my orthotics with these shoes!
