I wanted a New Balance shoe in black since my traditional NB walkers are too obviously sports colored. These not only fit well, but actually are a step up from my sportswalkers. The black permits even semi-formal wear without being conspicuous.

I really like the style and fit of this shoe. It is most certainly a quality shoe. But they are very heavy shoes. I've had them a year now and if I plan to do a lot of walking, I wear another pair of shoes. They are so heave I find I have trouble walking late in the day.

I bought the brown version of this shoe and just received it. Great looking shoe with a slightly "worn in" look to it that is great. Leather is ultra soft, shoe is very comfortable, and I was blown away by the quality. 5 stars, a must buy for any person in need of a wing-tip shoe!
