First time I've tried the velcro closes, and they hold very well and are easy to adjust. This shoe had great support and allows me to put in my own orthotics.

Initially, I was worried about the cost/benefit but as soon as I wore these the first time I realized they were the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn!I almost lost my right foot in an auto accident 7 years ago and live with foot pain on a daily basis and these shoes help reduce that pain. I highly recommend these to anyone!

Very nice shoe, I like Drew shoes. These work with doctors insole inserts. Only small issue is the heel was a bit loose at first, but I was not using the insoles that came with the shoe to be fair.
