This was my first purchase of the Asics brand. Have heard what a good shoe they are and I now must agree.Good looking shoe that's fits as advertised and very comfortable to wear. Only time will tell if they stand the test of time but at this stage very happy. I purchased a pair for my son in law as well and he's very happy too.

Stick rubber, great cushion for mountain downhill,medial plate, very spacious, durable very breathable and allows water to escape fast.Runs 1 full size too big compared to other NB shoes.I use this shoe for AT running and anything over 12 miles or so. Otherwise, I run with the Patagonia Forerunner without the medial plate and the extra cushion.

We bought this as my husband's regular full leather New Balance was not available in his size. Although the size and comfort is very good, the mesh is not a good idea. The mesh gets very dirty from road dust, etc. and you cannot clean it. Future purchases will be the all leather.

You will find many reviews stating that this shoe runs small. The last may be the same, but the styling means that your toes will likely be cramped if you buy your regular shoe size (assuming your regular size does not run slightly large for you).
