I have been having a lot of problems with extreme foot pain at work. On my feet in a food service environment eight to nine hours daily, 5 days a week. These shoes were purchased as a hope to alleviate some of the pain from a combination of arthritis, neuropathy, flat feet and plantar fasciitis. The shoes provide some welcome relief. Holds the foot steady and stable. Traction on slippery surfaces is, however, non-existent.

I originally bought a pair of these in black which I'm still wearing. I had plantar Faciitis for over a year and they were the only shoes I could really wear. Aetrex also makes inserts for that problem so that's why I originally bought them. I ordered these (apex) in white for the summer. They are a little stiff right now but still fit good right out of the box. I will be sticking with these for walking shoes for a long time.

I bought this shoe for my Uncle. He is an older gentleman who is having some ambulatory dysfunction. This shoe has a wide enough sole that it helps to balance him. I'm happy to say he is walking again short distance without his walker, and he swears it's the shoe that is helping him. Although the shoe is not advertised as a stability shoe, It has helped my Uncle feel more stable. I would recommend this shoe for any person that is having with feet swelling as the Velcro closure allows for some adjustment with ease, Older fingers have trouble with buckles, and laces. This shoe is an easy on and off, which gives a disabled, or elderly person the satisfaction of accomplishment "I can put my own shoes on again." My Uncle loves the shoe. I will be ordering the brown ones for him soon.

I love my new walking shoes. They are so comfortable to anyone who has foot problems, such as plantar faciitis or arch problems. I can no longer wear any sneaker or shoe off the store shelf. Orthofeet really produces a great shoe and sandal. Try them!!

I have searched over and over for a comfortable shoe.Well I finally found one that I can wear all day and not have to get them off my feet.I like to keep them on seeing I get heel spur pain often, with these shoes the spurs have not acted up. I would recommend this shoe to anyone.
