I have large calves and small ankles, the shoe allowed plenty of room for both with the lace up feature! Easy to walk in, the only issue I have is that I am 5'3 and the boots go all the way to my knee cap - would have like them to be a little below, but not a huge problem. LOVE THEM anyway!

The leg part on these boots was so incredibly narrow that even the "stretch" didn't make it come near to fitting my average-sized (50th%) young teen's legs. I can't even imagine them fitting an adult. These were made for women with no calves at all. They were pretty. But weirdly tiny in the legs.

I bought these because they were the only purple ones I could find. Despite having a thicker sole and the potential therefore to be softer on the foot than my Funtasma Lust boots, I find that without an inner sole I can't wear them for long periods if I'm going to be on my feet.Love that they are still tight on thinner calves. They look great with both short skirts/dresses and over skinny leg jeans. The material is stretchy but I supsct people with thicker calves may find them uncomfortable.

Love these boots! So comfortable! Originally purchased to trash to wear at a Halloween photo shoot but they are so comfortable I ended up buying another pair of cheap shoes for that purpose. They have worn extremely well in the time I have had them and still look like new (purchased 18mo ago).They work well for me because I have thin ankles and calves but although they are stretchy, I can see them being a problem for people with bigger calves. This may also be the reason for some people having trouble with the fabric pulling away from the zips as this has not happened with mine.

I had been looking for a long time at retailers for shoes like these. Then I stumbled onto Shoebuy.com. They were exactly what I had been looking for! My size is 9 1/2, but since they didn't have half sizes I bought a 10 which seemed safe because I had read a review that said they run small. The beautiful shoes arrived just a few days later. But then to my disappointment, they were WAY too small. My toes wouldn't even straighten out. So I returned the shoes and bought an 11. Again, the shoes arrived promptly, but this pair was extremely BIG on me (slipping up and down when I walk)! Can't hold this against Shoebuy.com though, more of a manufacturer thing. I still LOVE the shoes and put a couple of inserts in them and a no-slip heel thing and they are working out ok. Shoebuy.com experience was great, just wish my shoes would fit me better, or that maybe they carried half sizes. These shoes definitely run SMALLER than the size noted.
