| | About Arch Pain: |
|---|
| | | Arch pain is the inflammation of the foot arch - the fibrous band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes. The main factors that may lead to someone experiencing arch pain are: over-stretching of the arch , which can cause tiny tears in the ligament; structural imbalances such as over-pronation; or abnormally flat feet. The most common treatments for arch pain can include use of orthotic aids such as arch supports, heel wedges, gel heel cups, metatarsal pads and pain killers. |

Crocs Specialist
Shoe made a little bit different now....

I love wearing my Crocs Classics but I wanted something for those days that might be a tad colder - and might be a bit wet. You just can't have holes surrounding your feet on those days. So I opted for the Specialist to wear with jeans and sweats when I walk the dog in the wintertime. I ordered a size larger than what I would normally wear in the "hole-y" Crocs so that I could wear some thick socks. And these work just fine.My only complaint (and that of other reviews) is that the back strap is more cheaply made than Crocs from a couple of years ago. The back strap is a bit more flimsy and, therefore, harder to put around your heel. The older ones were more rigid and your heel just slid in. With these, you might actually be standing on part of the back strap as you try to maneuver the entire thing around the base of your foot. That's my only complaint.

Orthofeet 950
very comfy shoes

I bought these because of heel pain that made it almost impossible for me to walk. By the time I wore these for a full day, I was able to take the dog for a 1 1/2 mile walk. I still have pain and limp, but the shoes make it possible to walk. I highly recommend them. I use these with no socks in Florida, so I ordered my normal size 8 1/2 wide and they fit fine. If I wanted to wear socks with them at my home farther north, I would definitely need a 9 wide.

Finn Comfort Sansibar Soft
Not great for walking in the mall
August 23, 2012
Reviewer: PJ from Crossville, TN
I love the quality and color. I have a "C" width and an arthritic toe joint and the fit is good (no pressure points). My biggest problem is that when I wore them walking in the mall, my foot felt like it was slipping out of the shoe, even though when I put them on they fit nicely.
Wears this shoe: When I wont be walking alot.
