Surprisingly heavy. Good sole cushion and good sole tread. I use tennis size 11, these boots in size 10.5 were perfect in length, but they felt wide. I have narrow feet, but the boots are definitely wide. The drain/breathing opening on the inner side of the boots is large and inside the opening there is just a thin screen. I wonder if this will hold for a long time. If you don't mind the weight, great pair of boots.

Boot is well constructed of quality materials. Seems very "amphibious" with neoprene tongue and large drainage screen at instep. Closed speed laces will take some getting used to. Boot runs large. I am returning with no field use due to poor fit. I wear a 9.5 regular running shoe and the insole from the 9.5 regular boot is nearly a full inch longer than those from my other shoes and boots and wider throughout the foot. Jungle boots have always fit a bit sloppy and this is no exception. Overall a good boot for its intended use, but order at least a half size smaller for a good fit.
