sandal has an upper with hook and loop adjustable nylon straps and a rubberized EVA footbed and outsole. The Footbed has a (medium) 16mm built-in arch for comfort, support, and to help keep the body aligned.

I have plantar fasciitis and wanted a sandal for wear around the water as I live on a lake. I had looked for sandals that offered arch support before, but I had never seen the Waterbug. The Waterbug is suppose to offer arch support so I decided to order a pair. The sandal does offer support, but it seems after wearing just a few hours, the support is going away. It is like the foam rubber is compressing that makes up the shoe base and sole. Only time and use will tell.
Wears this shoe: Casually around the housel, but not every day.

The shoes are very lightweight and have a good arch support. The Velcro straps make them easy on and off.

I bought the product because it appeared similar to sandals I had for many years. I wanted the foam rubber soles with no pattern so that it does not leave footprints on the carpeting. I was delighted when it met my requirements. They are comfortable, light and cool. I intend to get many years of use.
