Originated from the style worn by ship and train engineers during World War II, this classic round-toed boot is fashioned on a riding boot last with antiqued buckles. Our boot is expertly crafted to fit the contours and proportions of the female foot. This boot, made in the USA, features a leather upper, leather lining, cushioned leather insole, a flexible leather outsole, rawhide laces to give a true authentic experience, and goodyear welt construction for ultimate durability.

There's nothing to dislike...they feel great and look great! I've wanted these boots for awhile and finally got them. I wore them for the first time and several people complimented them. The leather feels good and the stitching sets the package off. Love Them!

I was really looking forward to the boots but was disappointed to find that one of the boots had a white mark in the middle of the boot face - looked like a bleached mark. Makes me feel like I was buying from a reject shop. I'll be returning the boots - what a hassel.

These boots are exactly what I was looking for. I usually wear a size 7. I wasn't sure how they would fit so I ordered both a 7 and a 7 1/2. The larger ones were much too big in the heel. The 7's fit great; a tiny bit of slip in the heel but not enough to be the least bit concerned about.The leather is soft and beautiful. I also like that they are made in America. These boots are perfection!

Love the look. Love the height of the boot. Love the comfort of a leather boot. It breaks in to fitting perfect.Plan to get a lot of wear from these boots. Can tuck pants in or wear over. Love the softness of the upper part.

This shoe has lovely soft leather, with a bit more thickness to the leaver around the front of the feet and toes (which keeps my feet warm). In my experience Vintage Shoe Company can be extremely variable in its sizes. I tried the same size of the same boot in black, and the shoe was far too big. I've also ordered shoes in other styles from Vintage Shoe Company that were too small. But this pair worked perfectly. By the way, I have high arches, and it's nonetheless easy to slide these boots on my feet.
