Definitely not Leather!

I bought this bag believing the description that it is made from leather. When the bag arrived, it did not feel like leather...it did not smell like leather...it had no leather labels, and it was just hard vinyl trying to look like leather. The lining was not satin- very cheaply made at a high price. Bag was returned.

I actually thought that the bag was made from leather. It seems to be made from a type of vinyl. The lining is very nice, and the bag looks great, but I usually only buy leather?I would not buy another.

I dont know what "compressed leather" is, but this purse feels and looks like vinyl. I would not return it if it was actually made of quality leather, which it is not. Too bad, it could have been a great bag.
