I like everything about this shoe. Comfort, light weight, ankle support, aggressive tread, ability to stand up against elements. It is a Quality constructed shoe.

When I first tried on the Zephyr, I was impressed with the way they fit my feet and even today, with new inserts, the boots fit very well. The break in was wearing them around the house for a day and then taking an easy going 7 mile hike on combination dirt, gravel and asphalt. After 6 years, these boots have held up very well during lite to medium hiking and lite backpacking. The only gripe I have about them is that on smooth and wet surfaces, they were and still are very slick, but I have never fallen while wearing them. If I had taken better care of the outside of the boots, I would just have them resoled.
