I love these boots. I ordered my 2nd pair a year ago. I bought my first boots four years ago. I hike every weekend (close to the mountains). I wear these boots year around. They are not too hot in the summer. Waterproof for the spring, winter, and fall. There is not a break in period. The boots are so comfortable the first time you put them on and thereafter. They are 1/2 size too large even if you wear thick socks. I highly recommend these boots.

This is my first Vasque purchase. I am so pleased with the shoe. I am not a runner but wanted a shoe that I could wear for hours and hike around various cities. The color is great, the fit is perfect. No break in period at all. I am a full size 10, normal width foot and this shoe fit exactly how I like shoes to fit. I travel overseas every so often and this shoe will be perfect for exploring cities and trails. No need for a heavier hiking shoe. Highly recommend.

The boot is great for hiking and work. I wear the boot daily as a landscape contractor. I have hiked 12 miles a day and my feet are not sore. They give me great support and are lightweight to "boot". Recommend highly.

I bought these for a trip to Alaska. Needed good quality boots but wanted a fun shoe too. These fit the bill. Ordered a full size up per other reviews - good advice. I always wear a size up in exercise footwear and this was no exception. I used these boots on the elliptical while on board our ship, hiked and canoed in Alaska, and used them for my regular 4 mile walks while in Ca. Just changed socks to fit the activity. All part of the same trip. These boots fulfilled all my outdoor activity needs for my 2 week vacation. Will keep them forever!
