Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

When the uppers on my old hiking boots split earlier this year they couldn't be repaired. I shopped around, looking at numerous brands of boots before deciding on Vasque. So far, I'm very pleased with my purchase. No break-in was required. I went on a 15 mile hike (armed with moleskin and band-aids) with these boots right out of the box. Very comfortable, even after a full day of hiking. Usually, I can't wait to get my boots off, but no blisters or hot-spots. The boot gives you sure-footed traction and excellent support. Highly recommended.

The boot fits like a glove and is true to size and width. Great support in rough terrain and my feet always stayed dry. But what good is any boot that fails during the 8th month.

I got a pair of these when I went to work in the utah/colorado mountains. They were incredibly comfortable and suprisingly very warm. When I paired them with some goretex snow gaiters, knee high snow was no problem for these boots. I absolutely abused these boots for an entire year and are just now starting to show wear and tear. If you do a lot of walking in different seasons and environments I would recommend these boots to anybody who has to do a lot of walking. I used to wear heavy leather work boots and I'll never buy anything other than the hiking style boots again!
