Product Description (Women's Vasque Velocity)

Built for motion control on rugged trail runs, the Velocity's dual-density EVA midsole reduces pronation while TPU reinforced Airmesh and synthetic leather uppers provide support. Vasque Mako outsole offers superb traction. Synthetic nubuck leather and airmesh nylon fabric upper with dual density phylon midsole. Vasque Mako outsole. Nylon lined with dual density EVA footbed; Beneke-Ceroprene Rand and Running Last.

Shaft Height: 4" (Size 11)

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I discovered Vasque Velocity back in 2003. I managed to get 2200 miles out of my first pair. I walked most of the way from Georgia to Maine then down to Key West Florida to Orlando, Florida in that first pair. Every pair I have ever bought have lasted miles and miles and miles. Even after 1000 miles they still feel like slippers on my feet. I am on my 7 pair now and hope they never stop making this shoe. LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!

I ordered this sneaker because I previously had 2 pairs of the green velocity. These are blue ,I still don't like the color. I took them out of the box and started wearing them, no break in required. They do feel a little heavy but I do not like the replacement they made for this shoe. Great sneaker. I wear these for walking.

I bought these shoes to do hiking. They are comfortable but they are not very good looking. Vasque needs to make these shoes more attractive.

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked
Bought for walking/hiking on slippery and rugged surfaces. Worked very well. Comfortable after I tried 3 sizes--glad I did.
