This is my fourth pair of theseI have two pairs I run in currently and my other two pairs are retired but I wear them around the house and to do yardwork and they are still in one piece after about 5 years.

Over the years, I have purchased shoes from many of the major shoe manufacturers. Unfortunately, I was often disappointed with their overall quality. It is not until I wear a shoe for several months that the true quality of a shoe becomes apparent. This is my third pair and I have never experienced a shoe that holds up as well as the ones made by Vasque. As long as Vasque is still making shoes, I will be buying them.

I run rocky, technical trails and this shoe is great. I have been wearing this model for a few years now. I've tried some other brands but have always come back to the original velocity. They are well made, last many miles, have excellent traction, a good toe box, and are very stable and support my arch well. The pair I just bought will be on my feet for my first 50 mile race.
