Product Description (Women's Vasque Velocity VST)

Behold the lighter, faster and lower profile evolution of our flagship shoe. The new Velocity ups the game in performance with our new, patent-pending Vasque Spine Technology. The upper is a sandwich of synthetic materials providing support and breathability. A medial TPU midsole cage offers pronation stability and the lightweight TPU forefoot plate protects the foot from uneven terrain. The Mako II sole is meant for loose and unpredictable trail conditions.

I bought it to replace another Vasque shoe that was worn out. The last replacement hadn't fit just right, so I was wearing the holey one, and this one is perfect. It's comfortable and fits my feet, which is why I switched to Vasque to begin with. I have duck feet--narrow at the heels and broad in the front, though not webbed. And unlike most running shoes, this pair isn't ugly. In fact they're kind of cute. I find myself wearing them in public and not just for exercise.

I bought these for the motion control qualities, removable footbed that accomodates orthotics and the great color and look. They seemed a little stiff first time out but that quickly passed and they are fantastic on uneven, rocky hiking trails. They are still light and athletic enough to run the trails too. They'd be even better if the quality of the footbed was improved - I'd love to see quality comparable to the footbed in my other running shoes. Do that and I'd never even think about trying another trail shoe.

I bought them because of the color and I am always on my feet. I didn't find the support I was looking for. I went back to my old sneakers and got insoles. My back/leg pain is gone. They are still pretty though.

I really like the athletic quality of this shoe. Excellent shock absorption, sticky on slick surfaces, and good trail look. Personally I would like a little more aesthetic for wearing around town. I am always happy with vasques as I am with these. They are consistent in sizing, quality, and matches its intended use.
