I read a review from a shopper who purchased these boots to hike an Alaskan Glacier. I purchased them for the same reason. These shoes felt great the moment I put them on my foot. My size is 6.5 or 7 and these are a 7. They have plenty of room for toes, great ankle support and lots of cushioning.
