i am a functioning paraplegic and have regained enough mobility to live alone at home. The shoes provide me with safe, good traction, and support, for the small amounts of walking with a walker that i am able to do. very pleased.

I wanted a shoe that would travel with me and would be lighter than a running shoe. This shoe fits the bill. It's super comfortable and yet sturdy enough for long walks and hikes.

Vasque is a great company, and although they market to athletes, I find many of their styles great for baby-boomers like me who walk instead of run. For summer or hot-weather climates, these are great, though you can wear them with very think socks too. Bravo!

These shoes are wonderful. Wore them right out of the box around several theme parks with no foot problems at all. Good airflow, no blisters, stays on while riding rollercoasters. The only concern is that the shoes are slippery on wet pavement. The shoelace might prove difficult to operate for someone with dexterity issues.

I bought this shoe because I have another pair of Vasque. I am very satisfied with the shoe. I have a bad ankle. I started wearing Vasque last winter. I wear Vasque as soon as I get up in the morning. I am on my feet each day as I love to walk, garden, housework and take care of grandchildren. I feel Vasque an excellent shoes. It has helped me with giving my ankle support.
