Great boot for long-distance hiking March 12, 2013

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width This boot has really earned my respect. As the second set of Vasque boots for me to own, I feel that I can honestly say that they are well worth their money. straight out of the box, these boots needed very little breaking in time, and have never given me any rubbing or blisters. So far I have but over 150 miles on them, most of that being cross-country and off trail hiking. They are in good condition and have not fallen apart despite the repeated abuse. If I bought them again, I might go with the gore-tex ver. as these do not keep out any rain or water, being very breathable and flexible. Overall, great boot and I highly recommend to any one that might be doing any dry conditions long-distance hiking.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I am female, with width problems, so I tried the Vasque men's wide hiking boots. The fit is perfect and the grip on snowy and icy hills is outstanding! I am really so excited to try them out on the hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, and of course, back up to the top!

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Very solid, yet light weight feeling shoe. Going to be using the shoes in a long distance hiking and shooting competition and so far they look like the perfect choice. Great for the climate here in Texas, not to much insulation and they breath well. Plan on putting about 150 miles on them in the next two weeks and I think they will take good care of my feet.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Yes, I always have a hard time finding good fitting shoes. I never, repeat never have found a confortable cheap pair of shoes in my life. So with that being said, these are ultra light, good looking, feel good shoes. I seldom find a true size for my low arch wide feet. You know that every maker of shoes uses a different last. Since that is so, you really have to experiment to find the right fit for your feet. I live in mesa az, which has very hot summers. These shoes will be just fine.
