This crossover boot is great for wear on the trail or around town with its synthetic leather and Airmesh nylon upper with a molded rubber toe bumper and a Gore-Tex® waterproof membrane and Extended Comfort Technology, dual density EVA footbed, molded EVA midsole, and Vasque exclusive Vibram® Contact Lite outsole.

I suffer from arthritis in my big toe joints, and most shoes kill my feet. The mesh part of this shoe is over the joint, and it feels soft. The shoe has lots of room for my orthotics. Some other brands do not have enough depth to fit them. They are also high so they support my ankles. They are light and truly waterproof. They run a bit narrow in the front, but that works for me as I have narrow feet, but swollen joints. The heel fits very well, and my foot does not slide around. I ordered a 1/2 size up, but that is because of my issues. They should run true to size for others. I just purchased another pair!
Wears this shoe: Everyday, walking, the gym and light hiking.

I took them out on slightly muddy Colorado hike for three hours and had dry feet; they were light and very comfortable. There was no breaking in needed. I love them!!
