These are awesome shoes! I've been looking for a shoe that allows my feet to breathe, but yet provides warmth and dryness. These are a great fit.

this shoe is stable with good mid foot support. I have arthritic feet and wear them in the office and walking.

This is a great shoe. Quite a bit of support but still lightweight. Great for casual hiking or everday wear. I had to purchase a half size larger.

A trainer for the rocks and trails

I live in the Arizona High Country, and City and Wilderness trails are just outside the door. So I was essentially looking for an "everyday trainer" that was rugged enough for Wilderness hiking as well as the hike to the shops. Also since it gets pretty hot sometimes, it had to be breathable, and with a low profile, unlike true boots. For this purpose, its almost perfect, but not quite: the sole is very stiff, but the Vibram Contact outsole does not grip rock and loose surfaces as well as the traditional rubber tread. As for size, I had to go with a half size larger than my normal hiking boots.

This is my fourth pair. I wear them all of the time. My only complaint is that they need to be replaced after six to eight months. But like I said, I wear them a lot.
