A low-stretch, soft-shell upper reinforced with welded TPU and 30% recycled content PU nubuck keeps out fine debris as well as combats moisture and slop.
The Boa technology system offers an incredible closure that wont freeze up or absorb water like laces.
Underfoot, the single density, neutral midsole is enhanced with high rebound EVA in the heel and forefoot. A rigid TPU instep plate supports the midfoot, and a textile forefoot plate protects from point loads. This is bult on Velocity last.

These are the best trail running shoes that I have owned due to their snug fit thanks to their lacing system and their lightness. I also use them for light hiking.

Looked everywhere for a hiking shoe with the boa lacing system, and these came the closest to what I wanted. So far they are some of the best shoes I have worn, and I no longer have to worry about laces coming untied or catching on random pieces of nature. I really have no complaints about them.

The front end is well constructed. This shoe is very light and dry fast when wet. The only issue is when you bend your feet upward, the BOA disc will cause some discomfort on the feet.

Being an active person that enjoys outdoor activity and gym routines, I have found the Vasque Aether Tech product to serve my purpose. The roomy toe box, construction, appearance, and support offered by the shoe is superb. The radius tie mechanism is great, making the shoe fit like a glove. It can be worn for most cross-over activities quite comfortably, especially hiking. I truly recommend this product for individuals on the move, and that includes seniors who walk the malls.

I LOVE the BOA lacing system, it is truly easy to make adjustments on the fly and it fits like a glove. I felt that the shoe ran a bit wide and big compared to others, but I have a slightly narrow foot. Great looking and great running, truly quality.
