The Authentic is the first lace-up skate shoe features Vans signature waffle bottom construction, original vulcanized sole and canvas uppers in a multitude of colors and styles.

Fit: This is a UNISEX style. All sizing is listed in MEN'S SIZES. If you would like to purchase a Women's size please subtract 1.5 sizes to convert to Men's. For example, if you would like to order a Women's size 6, please order a size 4.5.

I love these shoes! I wore them through high school and college and don't exactly know why I ever stopped wearing them, but recently I bought a pair, and ahhhh. They are on my feet every day, and I am on my feet most of the day- no complaints. They are light, comfy, cool (temp.-wise) and cool too.

Vans are one of the few shoes my son can wear, because of an old injury to his left foot (18 fractures), his foot has flattened out and is very wide but Vans fit well and are well padded for comfort.

My first pair of Vans were made of leather so I wanted a lighter canvas pair and these were on sale so I jumped on them. The title says it all. I like them, I really like them. I use these a lot for riding my road bike and they have enough support they are comfy on my bikes.
