Soft and cushioned socks. My last pairs of Thorlo's are 8 years old and are beginning to wear through. I wear them frequently as a floor nurse. These new ones are very soft and have a nice cushion. They do run small. I wear a size 6 shoe, never a 6.5. These size small socks (4-6) are very tight.

I do alot of walking and realized that I need the proper socks as well as shoes. These socks pad my feet very well. These socks do not slide down into my shoes and stay put on my feet as I am walking.

I picked up a few pairs of wool running socks from various brands to try out. Of them all, these Darn Tough ones were the most comfortable and likely most durable (although they give you a lifetime warranty on them). I would not hesitate to suggest picking these up!

I had to send the first pair back (size XL) and ended up with a pair of the Larges. I have size 11.5 feet (which says size XL on the size chart), but the XL's had too much fabric bunching up. The Larges fit like a DREAM! I've heard of other people sizing down too, goog some reviews! Maybe Drymax needs to update their sizing guide?! Anyhow, these socks ROCK! I normally go for 6-10 mile trail runs a few times a week. Nice and padded and all that jazz. Also just ordered a pair of their cold weather running socks... still waiting for those to arrive. Is it ok to say I am quite giddy for their arrival?
