Backpacks are bags that possess two shoulder straps which allow the wearer to carry the bag on their back. Backpacks are often associated as a student's must have school accessory for carrying books, etc from class to class.

The main front pocket literally started coming apart from the rest of the bag. I contacted Trager and they told me to send it in for repair/replacement. I sent the bag to them. Then I never heard from them again. I emailed them and contacted them through their website and left voicemails and no one responded. I thought maybe they had gone out of business. I even contacted the Better Business Bureau, who contacted them for me. But still they wouldn't respond. I'm pretty frustrated with thes company. They say on their website they give a lifetime guarantee, but good luck trying to use it.
Stephanie Dawn Backpack 10009 practical

I bought this backpack to use as an alternative to a medium purse on vacation. I want the weight to be distributed evenly across my back instead of on one shoulder. It holds an iPad, wallet, small camera, phone, small umbrella and a 1/2 liter water bottle. The iPad (with Apple's basic cover) barely slips into the back outside zippered pocket. If you do that it opens up a lot more space in the main compartment. The outside has an open compartment/pouch on each side, but they are not big enough to hold a water bottle. You might get a small phone in one (my blackberry doesn't fit). A latch/hook for keys would be a good addition. There's also a zippered compartment on the front which is slightly smaller than the one on the back (iPad doesn't fit here). This is manufactured with the same quality fabric and detailed workmanship that I have found in my other Stephanie Dawn purchases. The straps are adjustable in length but not detachable.
Trager 755B Transcontinental Laptop Sturdy bag, fragile buckles

I've had one of these for six years, and it's held up pretty well. Exceptions: Both buckles have one side broken. The "PDA pocket" is beginning to rip on one side where it attaches to the main bag. The clip at the end of the key strap fell off. Otherwise, it's pretty well designed - it has spaces for pens, accessories, stuff that isn't a laptop, a cell phone pocket, etc. I'll buy another.
