I bought a pair a couple of days ago. I haven't found boots that comfortable before. I love the soft insoles I could walk around for hours without my feet hurting, and also like the rubber base it has a manly thump sound to it appose to the slapping sound some boots make. I would like it if the hills were 1/4 inch taller and trim a little more off the edges, but those are miner details. I love my boots!!!
Wears this shoe: special occasions, church, visiting friends, sundays

I bought these boots recently because I wanted a black pair that matched as closely as possible the brown pair I had purchased about three months earlier (Twisted X MWT0012), which were amazingly comfortable from the first time I pulled them on.So comfortable, in fact, that, until I bought the newer ones, I wore almost nothing else, including walking around Manhattan and Brooklyn for a week.Both pairs are all leather, except for their rubber soles and heels (which are musts for me); have 1.5" Cuban/cowboy heels, tall shafts, nicely shaped toes and uppers, and very good stiching; and felt good on my feet right out of the box.On the only slightly down sides, these boots are made in China; oh, well, some of my suits are made in Canada. Also, the newer pair are made of thicker leather than their mates and, as such, will take a bit of breaking in to pull on as easily. Finally, I'd have preferred some color, say gray or blue or both, in the shaft stiching of the black boots, but Twisted X doesn't offer that and has ignored my two e-mails suggesting such.Overall, the Twisted X Black Cows deserve a score of 4.5, and their Distressed Bomber's get a solid 5.
