These shoes are better than expected. They fit well right out of the box. The toe space is great and the insole is well padded. They were very comfortable just trying them on and walking around in the house.This is a keeper! The suede/patent herringbone is more subtle then I expected too. It will look good with grey or black and I don't feel as if the patterned shoes are too flashy for my conservative nature.

True to size for Trotters shoes

I bought these in a 9M, in all other shoes I wear a 9-9.5 narrow. (Even Naturalizer narrow shoes are too wide - these are perfect. Narrow works too, but takes some breaking-in time.) And true to size to all other Trotters, they fit great and I wore them all day without issue. I got the brown Croc (also have the plain black) and they are a very nice color.

I bought these because the color listed was dark gray, but in reality they are more of a loden / army green color. I liked the style, but I couldn't match the shoes with very many things. I really needed them to be dark grey, so I am returning.
