I wanted a low-heeled shoe that would be comfortable and look good with a dress. My feet can be hard to fit -- I can try on every shoe in a store and not find anything comfortable. This pair of shoes feels good and looks good. The look is classic, so I'll be able to wear them for years to come.

Finding a low heeled dress shoe in bone color was a challenge in today's market. This shoe fits the bill with the patent trim for extra flair. The quality of the leather is soft and the workmanship good. It is also available in a narrow width--not easy to find in the current market. Being a Trotter, it runs fairly narrow, not typical of all brands today. (I wear a AA.) It has a true narrow heel. If you are between sizes I would go up a 1/2 size.

I was looking for a simple dressy shoe to wear to a summer wedding- where there would be a lot of dancing and I'd be on my feet for 4-6 hours. Comfort was my primary concern but Darcy not only was comfortable but beautiful in a classic way. It is a ballet pump with a small heel. There was plenty of room for the front of my foot and enough padding to make standing for long periods of time a breeze. The heel bed is well shaped and I didn't slip out of it at all- I often have the problem of not enough room in the toes and too wide in the heel and I find that the Trotters shoes fit my feet very well.

I like the way the shoe looks but am concerned that it may be too tight. I have been wearing Merrells and they are so comfortable that it will be hard for me to be comfortable in a more formal shoe.
